The apps can be used to keep you accountable. They are similar to the Jazzercise attendance games that students play at school. Install a health application on your smart phone and it will monitor everything from your heart rate to your weight loss, even your glucose levels. PC Journal’s top health apps include free apps that count energy, offer teaching, monitor and schedule exercise, and track and schedule workouts. Some of the apps on this list also provide community, as well as friendly competition and encouragement.
